Hello, I am Nakai, an Adan staff member.
During the period of blogging hiatus, Nakai was actually in Singapore.
I was in Japan for a week on a business trip and was fortunate enough to come across a wonderful exhibition.
Its name,
THE ART & SCIENCE OF GEMS Van Cleef & Arpels
Yes, the famous Van Cleef Arpels' collections are all lined up.
It is a sparkling exhibition for jewelry lovers!
The location is adjacent to Marina Bay Sands, which is now Singapore's most famous landmark.
It is the Museum of Art and Science.
Tickets are a bit pricey at 17SD...but no, it is well worth it.
Some cost is unavoidable for the elegant atmosphere!
(Incidentally, discounts are available for guests of Marina Bay Sands, Singapore residents, etc.)
I was told that all photography (no flash) was allowed,
I've been taking a lot of pictures.
I really want to go to Singapore, but it's too far away. I want to go to Singapore, but it's too far away,
Please take a look at these disappointing photos from my iphone.
This is the rumored museum. If you look closely, you can see the silhouette of Marina Bay Sands reflected on the glass surface.
DODODODODODON、、、、、 this smooth form. The beauty of the diamonds arranged to match it...
This way, you can also see the secret behind the secret. This is Van Cleef's masterpiece, a 2-way necklace (bracelet) on a chain.
The design allows the chain to be closed and transformed into a bracelet, a structure that requires even greater precision.
They generously show us their design drawings and explanations of their structures.
The glimpse into the process of production is one of the best parts of an exhibition like this.
Well,
Many series with art deco designs were also seen.
The pop of color in the enamel is absolutely wonderful.
Many others, gorgeous necklaces with the largest semi-precious stones you've ever seen and,
A cheeky bangle with a cute tiger fighting over a pearl,
I also loved the space of the venue.
Many of the spatial designs could be viewed 360 degrees from each piece, allowing visitors to see the works from all angles not normally seen.
Well, how was it?
This photo is just a small part of the picture.
And the power is different between a photograph and actually seeing it with your own eyes.
We will be doing it until August 14,
If you should ever have the opportunity to stop by Singapore, please let us know,
Why not come and visit us?
Meeting period
April 23-August 14
*Because I had to wait in line to buy tickets,
It's better to buy online in advance so you don't waste time.
Recommendation.
