I am Yokoi, an Adan staff member.
May has brought a wonderful new green season.
It is May and June, when beautiful, beautiful flowers bloom everywhere in the world, and the feeling of peace and tranquility is relieved.
The Hamanako Flower Expo was held about seven years ago, displaying and showing flowers from around the world in various forms.
Lake Hamana is an inlet from the Pacific Ocean, facing west from Hamamatsu, and you can go around the lake from Bentenjima to Nii, including Mitsuhi, famous for its mandarin oranges, Kiga for its delicious eels, and Tateyama-ji for its hot springs.
Oyster racks, clam shells, and beaches can be seen spread out here and there on the ocean.
The flower exposition was held on a reclaimed populated island in the center of the city.
These beautiful flowers are blooming all over the place.
Monet's garden, as depicted in his paintings, has been recreated, and Monet's house where he actually lived has been built and the water lily pond has been beautifully recreated.
I also have the feeling that I stopped by Monet's garden abroad to play.
Across from the pond, white wisteria flowers are blooming from a trellis.
I imagine that Monet was always looking at the garden and painting beautiful pictures like this.
Another Flower Expo in Hamamatsu is being held at the Flower Park in Tateyama-ji.
We were not able to go to this one this time, but both exhibitions will be held until mid-June, so we are considering making plans to go back and see them again.
It takes about 2 hours to Hamamatsu by Shinkansen. Hamanako and Tateyama-ji can also be reached by day trip.
If you have time, you can go there in the time you spend hanging around in Tokyo.
If you like flowers, please make a trip to the Flower Expo.
