I was rushing to the store to read something for the first time in a while.bookshelfI found a book that I was interested in when I searched for it!

Diamond by Tetsuzaburo Iwata

I was very curious about the book, so I flipped through the contents (^^).

The first thing I noticed was.South Africa(South Africa)...Italy(Italy)...Brazil(Brazil)...

The number of kanji characters is very much in keeping with the times.

And that's why this book, what a surprise!Published in 1923(a reprint of the original)!

Approximately 90 yearsIn Japan, the book was written beforeThe first book dedicated to diamondsIt is said to be.

Photo from top right,(face front) Zulo Danlao, Zulo Zukima...and it is noted that.

The name sounds like an exotic food, but if read properly from the right

Holland Rose" and "Marquise Rose."and can be deciphered.

This diagram illustrates the types of rose cuts.

I had an impression that it would be difficult, as the text was in old-fashioned script, so I was halfway to giving up on the project.

I think I will read it patiently because it was a nice piece of writing.

I can't help but feel rambling about this passage.
