The annoying rain continues.
I am Yokoi, an Adan staff member.
A drizzling rain is picturesque and gentle, but when it actually falls, it dampens the inside of your clothes and makes them feel damp.
It is an unpleasant state of affairs.
When I don't have any plans, I stay at home and don't go outside on my days off.
The walk is to the front door.
The other day, someone gave me a book published by (The Museum of Modern Art, Wakayama).
This book is titled "Tanaka Kyokichi: HISOMEROIMONO".
After entering art school to study Japanese-style painting, he soon broke down and returned to his parents' house, where he exchanged letters with various people.
The works are now like picture letters.
It is a very minor book, but the woodblock prints and poems are included in the latter half of the book, and I am having a hard time reading through it.
I would say that it is simply a way of spending time during the rainy season - I just don't want to go out.
He is also in dialogue with nature, its shapes, colors, environment, and emotions.
See inside the book in this picture.
I woke up from a nap and thought that if I could calm down and look around me, I would be a little more emotionally rich, compassionate, and respectful.
