Inlaying is a process of creating a design by engraving a line on a steel plate material.
24-karat gold leaf
(6/1000 mm), gold thread, or silver foil is inlaid using wire, a metal mallet, or a punch.

Once the pattern is created, it is struck with a mallet or hammer to embed the gold and silver.

Once finished, the fabric is placed in a solution of sodium hydroxide, potassium nitrate, and corrosive agent that is heated to 800 to 900°C to bring out the black texture of the underlying fabric.
Punches and tweezers with variously shaped tips are used to add shape to the pattern.

Finally, the finished product is polished to perfection.
