Today is finally the first day of the exhibition.
At 9:30 a.m., at the trattoria, the load-in begins. All members rush to get ready.
Nails were hammered into the wall to hang the display cases, the lighting inside the cases was set, and the exhibition was ready just in time for the opening of the store at 12:00 p.m. The exhibition started at the same time the store opened.
All displays are on the wall, as the exhibition is held in a trattoria that is normally open for business.
Since lighting for the exhibition is not available, LED lamps are set inside the case to illuminate the works
Of course there are tourists who come to the trattoria serving local cuisine for lunch, but nearly half are local regulars. Some of them are famous for coming to eat every day! Some of them are regulars. We, too, occupied a table and had our lunch.
Today, as a special, there are three large live crabs in the fridge, a rarity for inland Florence.
I was excited to commemorate the opening of the exhibition because I was told that it could be made into pasta for two people. But it was too much for two people,

The gallery had been closed in conjunction with the trattoria opening, but this year we decided to open it during gallery hours. This year, we decided to open the gallery during this time so that visitors can enjoy the exhibition without having to eat.
In the evening, we rent out a large part of the trattoria for the opening party, which is attended by five or sixty people.

However, since I was the host, I didn't have time to put food in my mouth, and what I did put in my mouth was broccoli risotto. It was delicious. I was amazed at how they could cook such a large quantity of risotto with just the right amount of heat and a little core left.
The party went on until nearly 11:00 p.m., and the first day ended without incident.
