I saw the Yoshiyuki Okuyama x edenworks Exhibition "flowers

Hello, this is Shigeta from Adan.

The other day after work, I wandered over to see the exhibit.

FLOWERS" is currently being held at the newly completed Parco Museum Tokyo in Shibuya Parco.

This is a special exhibition by Yoshiyuki Okuyama, a photographer famous for his work on Pocari commercials, and Emi Shinozaki (edenworks), a flower creator.

Yoshiyuki Okuyama is a photographer who now uses the house where his grandmother, who loved flowers, lived as her studio.

Flower creator Emi Shinozaki offers private works of flowers and plants that would otherwise be discarded, photographed as if in dialogue with her late grandmother.

Upon entering the exhibit, visitors will find a small garden, where familiar and familiar flowers will make them feel the early spring.

As if nostalgic for his memories of his grandmother, the artist's film photographs of landscapes and flowers cut from his living space are lined up in a row,

The essay with the photos was a nostalgic and sad reminder of my grandmother.

The exhibition space was like a forest, which reminded me of my habit of touching anything with my hands, even fresh plants.

When I first visited edennworks, I felt that it was a powerful florist, like a museum.

I feel that I was strongly told that flowers are living things.

Perhaps the secret of Okuyama's works, which are always a little sad and nostalgic, is her life of watching the flowers wither and die in the house where her grandmother lived.
