Wirework Filigrana Sarda, Sardinia, Italy

I am Kubota, an Adan staff member.

I would like to introduce a traditional technique of wirework jewelry that I encountered on my previous visit to Sardinia, Italy.

Its name is Filigrana Sarda Filigrana Sarda

Fili = wire and Grana = grain, meaning jewelry made with wirework and grain techniques.

This photo shows a pair of silver earrings I brought home almost on impulse.

Let's move a little closer.

Delicate line work.

These are hoop earrings.

The design is reminiscent of a mind-boggling ancient civilization.

I like them both, but as expected of foreign-made earrings, the posts are too thick.

I am planning to do a small remake to make it easier to use.

Finally, ADAM's original filigree-inspired jewelry is introduced.

The fresh sparkle of rose-cut diamonds gives this pendant a mature atmosphere.
