Kawamura Memorial DIC Museum of Art "Joseph Cornell's Seven Boxes" Exhibition

Hello, my name is Masada.
Today we will talk a little bit about art.

Have you ever heard of an artist named Joseph Cornell?
He is a pioneer of assemblage.

This is going to be a difficult story, but I just happened to find a flyer at a used bookstore in Shimokita and just happened to know about it, so I hope you can look into it for further information.

What a beautiful design!

It was so captivating that I perused it on the bus ride home.

It was my first visit to the museum as well, and it was a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy the natural surroundings.

It was very satisfying to see Cornell's collage work, which I had longed to see.

It was a valuable experience for me to feel the richness of each one.

Sculpture by Henry Moore.
It has a pleasant presence in the wide land.

On the way back, the sun was shining and we had a relaxing time.

The permanent exhibition also has a nice lineup, including Mark Rothko and Saito Ombri, and we look forward to the next exhibition.

It is a bit of a trip, but if you are interested, I highly recommend this museum.
