I went to a cooking class in Singapore....

I cook for myself every day, and although I look like this, I love to cook,
If you go to a foreign country, you can buy seasonings and other ingredients for local dishes at the supermarket.
These days I'm learning the joys of making all kinds of things...

Well, today I would like to talk about a cooking class in Singapore that I took on a business trip last December.

I thought I would like to make it at home,
I bought what looked like chicken rice stock at the supermarket,
I looked it up on Cookpad (there are so many recipes! You can see how much the Japanese like this dish.)

I tried to, but...

I knew I wanted to learn how to make the real Hainan Chicken Rice.I want to know! I want to master it!The thought of "I'm not sure I can do this,
I was on a business trip in December and attended the cooking class (3h) one as my shift was available!

Chinatown, a famous tourist attraction, is not an exaggeration to say that it is the kitchen of Singapore.

To begin with, I had never been to a cooking class in Japan, so I was fully curious about everything.

 

Participants came from all over the world for various reasons, including traveling and accompanying their husbands on business trips,
He was very friendly and the atmosphere in the hall was very relaxed♪

Everyone seems to have very strong feelings about chicken rice.

One girl from New York, in particular, said, "In New York, you can find cuisines from all over the world, but I've never encountered authentic Haenan chicken rice before! I figured if there's no restaurant, I'll make it myself, so here I am."
and tremendous momentum.

The rest were a Russian living in India, an Australian father and son, a Spanish man traveling alone, and a Chinese and Brazilian couple from Australia.

They also carefully chop their own chicken, shiroguai, shrimp, and other ingredients for wonton seeds.

After that, he is taught how to wrap it.

(Westerners had a very hard time)

Finely chop the chili sauce ingredients and grind them in a stone mortar in a fine, even layer.
