Overseas Events in Singapore: Singapore, the Year of the Rooster

Hello, I am Nakai, an Adan staff member.

I have just returned from an event at Takashimaya in Singapore early in the new year!

Singapore, too, has a strong Chinese culture,
Everyone seems to be very busy preparing for the Chinese New Year (January 28 this year).

The city was very active, with food product fairs everywhere.

I was surprised to see "rooster," the Chinese zodiac sign for this year, everywhere I went.
In Japan, rooster = bird, and in recent years, "all kinds of tori" have been used as motifs on New Year's cards.
I sometimes see them in illustrations,
The,

Here, exclusively "rooster"!

The town was ruled by a group of bulky roosters.

As one would expect in Chinatown, an oversized rooster, like a nebuta, welcomes you.

It was lit up, but the lights went out just before midnight.

Golden Rooster is also the fruit vendor at the supermarket!

There was also a rooster's fresh head muffin.

There were many stores selling baked goods and foodstuffs for Chinese New Year.

We also bring our own oven, and they are always willing to sample our freshly baked cookies and tarts,

Just walking here was enough to fill my stomach.

Singapore is also recommended at this time of year.

If you have a chance, why don't you visit?
