Second half of Tanzawa day trip climbing,
From Mt. Tounodake, head for Nabewariyama.
The rest is just a gentle plod along the ridge!

The scenery was beautiful and the course was very relaxing.
Arrived in no time.
I found a sign for nabeyaki udon.
Take your order and go from there.
They simmer the meat slowly.

This is the "Nabeyaki Udon" that you have been waiting for. I hear it is so popular that there is a line on weekends.
Today was Monday. And because it was the end of the consecutive holidays, there were hardly any people.
It was nice to be able to eat slowly without waiting in line.
It is filling and perfect after a day of mountain climbing.
I was too excited to focus on the shiitake mushrooms, but they were meaty and delicious.
The first half of the route from Nabewariyama to Okura is a series of steep stairs,
The second half was mostly flat. It was a bit boring.
Moss, waterfalls, streams,
It was a very fulfilling day trip to Nabeyaki Udon and a day hike up the mountain, as we were able to see many different landscapes.
The season of autumn leaves is coming.
There were many broadleaf trees, so they must be beautifully colored in the fall!
It was the perfect climbing course for the coming season.Â♪
