After the re-sizing, stone setting, and stone setting were successfully completed, the entire ring was refinished, and the repair was finally completed!
About 6 hours after the start of the repair, here is a picture of the successfully completed ring!
The purple amethyst on the far left is the stone we added this time. The other stones have been used for many years and their surfaces are a little worn, but we carefully cleaned them one by one, and they are now so beautiful that they do not look out of place with the newly added stones.
Rather than how to proceed with the filming, we were most concerned about whether the repairs could actually be made, but they were somehow completed without incident, and all the staff at the atelier, including Shindo, were relieved.
Since the client was busy before traveling overseas, the TV production company visited the client's home the next day to deliver the product.
We were very excited and waited to hear from them to see if they were pleased with the product, but we were informed by a representative of the production company that the product had been delivered safely!
I am very grateful for this opportunity,
Due to old,
It is also the fact that it was created after this earthquake,
Everything in the house was turned upside down, and old things...
What I really want to leave behind,
I've had it on my finger since yesterday,
Thank you so much for this opportunity."
Of course, there are many difficulties involved in creating new custom-made jewelry, and we work through trial and error in the atelier, but I realized once again that the repair and processing of entrusted jewelry requires the most experience and ingenuity.
Also, since there are not many opportunities to preserve repair sites on film, I believe that properly filming the repair work in this way will be valuable as documentation.
We look forward to seeing you all on the air!
We will report back as soon as we know the schedule.
