Hello, I am Nakai, an Adan staff member.
Croatia, which I visited on vacation.
We have posted several travelogues. (Click here to read the previous post.)
This is the sixth installment of the series,
Stopover in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina
The following is a report on the
Dubrovnik 4 days and 3 nights in Dubrovnik is over and we will follow the northbound route by turning around and heading north.
We all boarded a bus around 17:00 in the evening to the neighboring country of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mostar is a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located on the Balkan Peninsula.
The city has an oriental atmosphere that one would not expect to find in Europe, and due to its historical and geographical background, Muslims and Catholics have coexisted here since ancient times.
Croatia's "War of Independence" against the former Yugoslavia in 1991-95.
I think it is fresh in my mind that it was reported in the news at the time.
Only 20 years have passed since then.

Also listed as a World Heritage Site.Stalimost
At the stone bridge, which was built in the Ottoman period of the 16th century,
It was destroyed by war in 1993, but was only restored in 2004 by UNESCO.
There was a market, so we bought some fruit and waited for the restaurant to open. (Too early in the morning!)
Here is what I had as brunch.
A specialty of the Balkan Peninsula, chevapiti (traditional jewellery worn in the earlobe, popular in Han-dynasty China)
It was a well-seasoned ground meat sausage that was very easy to eat without any habits.
A stopover stay of only half a day.
But I'm glad I stopped by!
With many thoughts in mind, the group headed for their next destination, "Split.
