This is Kubota from Adan Staff.
It's finally starting to feel like spring~!
I'm not a big fan of cold weather, so this time of year I'm excited and looking forward to spring (^^)
Cherry blossom viewing, picnics, and the season of fun is almost here~ **
Today I'd like to introduce you to some of the most beautiful picnic spots in Italy...
I had once been taken on a picnic with a light heart and it turned out to be a cross-border trip from Italy to France, so this time I checked in advance (^^;).
>Is this what heaven is like? The lakeside of the Pass de la Monsigny - Travels in France
Then he said, "Don't worry, it's Italy! But we'll drive to the end of the road!" And, well, what kind of place can we go this time?
We left Turin, where we were staying, and drove for about an hour on the highway, then took a mountain road and just climbed and climbed and climbed...
After passing through several villages and continuing uphill on the plateau, we reached the spot where the road did indeed break off!
This is Lago di Malciaussia (Lake Malciaussia), a vast dammed lake that stores snow melt from the Alps.
A truly spectacular view!
The emerald green surface of the lake is too beautiful.
It is like a movie world.
It is a very popular spot for picnicking with such a view, and even though it was mid-morning when we arrived, there were already many people there.
There are tables, a barbecue stove, and toilets.
This is something I would go to every week if I lived nearby.
I was told that an hour and a half trek from Lake Martiaussia would take me to another lake, so I went there!
The path was gentle at first, but as we climbed higher and higher, it became steeper and steeper, and we thought about turning back, but we managed to arrive.
This is Lago Nero, a natural lake.
Nero = black, hence the name "Black Lake".
The dignified serenity of the lake was beautiful in contrast to the emerald green of the previous one.
Incidentally, it was June when I visited, but there is still snow on the ground.
It is also a great place to escape the heat.
And on the way to reach this Lake Nero, there was a spectacular viewpoint overlooking Lake Malciaussia below!
This is, already, a movie.
There have been various opinions that it looks like a hobbit or Harry Potter, but for me personally, it is like Lupin III's Cagliostro's Castle.
I remembered the scene of the lake in the last scene, but I regret that I couldn't share the impression in Italy.
Incidentally, speaking of the Castle of Cagliostro, a ring was a key item, like a college ring with a coat of arms engraved on it, right?
I remember this intaglio ring that was produced for a previous exhibition.
In contrast to cameos, which are carved with a raised pattern, the intaglio technique carves the pattern in this way.
It is romantic to think that this technique was already used in ancient Roman times.
Adan also offers other products such as cameo roos, so please feel free to contact us if you are interested.
