Items given to us by loved ones, items that no longer fit, etc.

Why don't you use the size that fits you perfectly?

 

First, cut the palm side of the ring in one place to make it larger or two places to make it smaller.

Next, using a tool called a trowel, spread the pieces to make them larger, or gather them together to make them smaller, so that there are no gaps.

 

To make it larger, a piece of ground metal slightly wider and thicker than the original ring is placed between the widened area and welded in place.

To make it smaller, weld the gathered area.

*If there are stones in this case, protect them so that heat does not circulate.

Use a file to shave off excess or protruding bullion, and then shape it with a mallet.

A tool called a reuter is used to remove fine sandpaper scratches, etc,
