Hello, I am Nakai, an Adan staff member.
Well,Continued from last time Today is the fourth installment of my travelogue of Australia,
Today,
Petit trip from Sydney - I visited Ayers Rock, the world's most spectacular view.
So,Visited Ayers Rock for 3 days and 2 nightsThis is the story of my visit to the
One day back in July.
My father and I landed at Ayers Rock Airport, a three-hour Jetstar flight from Sydney.
Located in the southern hemisphere, Australia is in the opposite season to Japan.
So it is winter here, but Ayers Rock is located right in the middle of the Australian continent.
Desert climate...
In other words, it is hot during the day and very cold in the morning and evening.
I landed at Ayers Rock with a hazy and anxious mind about how to prepare my clothes.
The Ayers Rock Resort is spread out about 15 minutes by bus after getting off at the airport.
Hotels are scattered by rank, and there is a small little shopping center with supermarkets, restaurants, etc.
It is such a place that is completely touristy, convenient, and expensive, with a circular bus service running through it.
I checked into my hotel and immediately dashed off to take the tour.
Kata Tjuta (Mount Olga) and Uluru Sunset Tour
What is Kata Tjuta? This is a huge rock formation about 32 km away from Uluru (Ayers Rock). The name means "many heads" in the Aboriginal language, and is the second most popular tourist attraction after Uluru, with many tours available.
Dong,
A rock appeared.
The weather, which I had been worried about, turned out to be blue sky all around!
Cool in short sleeves? The weather was just right, a little hot~.
A meandering walking path along a stream between two huge domes called Walpa Canyon, with huge rocks on either side.
美しいオルガの岩を眺めながら散策♪♪
Red rocks, blue sky, green trees....
I was simply impressed by the beautiful scenery created by nature.
Huge rocks are strewn about.
I'd hate it if it fell on me while I was walking... (I know that rarely happens)
There was a clean puddle, where the V-mark created by the dichotomous rocks was reflected in the water~.
After about an hour of moderate walking time, we boarded the bus to a spot with a beautiful view of Kata Tjuta.
The more you look at it, the more mysterious the shape of the rock is.
Now that we have seen the whole of Kata Tjuta, it is time for dusk.
Head to the sunset venue where you can see Ayers Rock right in front of you.
Ayers Rock in red.
The redness increases with every few minutes of dusk.
And,
After dusk, it looks like this.
The rock has turned reddish-black, as if it had internal hemorrhaging. ・・・・
I was struck by the influence of the sun's rays that create the beauty of Ayers Rock.
The sunset after the sun went down, the gradation of blue, pink, and orange was also very nice.
Next time,
This is about the Kings Canyon day trip that we joined early the next morning!
Nakai's travelogue of Australia, loosely translated, still continues.
Please wait with bated breath.
