Speaking of Christmas... Stollen

Hello,
I am Nakai, an Adan staff member.

Today is Christmas Eve!

German sweets have become familiar in Japan over the past few years,
Stollen.

Stollen, or stollen as we often call them in Japan,
The correct pronunciation seems to be Stollen, which is closer to the local pronunciation.

Well, last week I actually had a personal birthday,
Stollen arrived by courier from my sister who lives far away from me.

It lasts for a very long time.
I have been eating a little slice every morning and today it is finally gone.

In Germany, where it is authentic, it is 3-4 weeks while waiting for Christmas,
They eat over time...

The last thing you want to do is eat.
The flavor of rum and dried fruits soak into the bread and
It has a matured taste, which is also delicious.

I heard it in passing, but in the ancient city of Dresden in Germany, the birthplace of Stollen,
It seems that every year there is a charity parade with 3.3 tons of giant stollen baked.

I am a hundred percent aware that it is cold,
Dresden at that time of year, I would love to visit......................

I was thankful to my sister for taking the time and effort to make these sweets as a gift...
It was the end of the year before I realized it, and it was a day that made me feel how fast the year has gone by.
